Could you add lemon juice to add more lemon flavor? If so, I’m sure that would affect the sugar, so would you then need to adjust other things like the syrup or oat/coconut flour amounts?
Hi there! Adding lemon juice would not impact sugar content too much as I would not add anymore than a few teaspoons… For more lemon flavor, I would actually increase the lemon zest.
Will cream cheese have too much fat and not much protein? Will Greek yogurt work?
Hello! The cream cheese base allows them to stick together. I’ve never tried Greek yogurt, but my fear is that they wouldn’t hold together as well.
Is there 6g of total carbohydrates in each bite? I want to make these for my boyfriend with diabetes and just want to clarify that 🙂
Looks delicious
Yes, that’s correct!
Could you substitute almond flour for the coconut? Any adjustments?
Almond flour and coconut flour can’t typically be replaced for each other as 1 cup almond flour = 1/3 cup coconut flour. You could try oat flour though!
Can you use oat flour instead of oats?
Yes!
Can you use quick oats?
Yes! Though they may turn out slightly drier.
Can I freeze any of your no-bake desserts. I like making things ahead and freezing them so that when I have a snack attack they’re ready. All of your no-bake desserts look wonderful.
Yes, I do this often!
How about Lemon Paste as a substitute for the almond extract?
I’ve never tried that so I’m not sure how it would impact the flavor.
