Sweet & Savory Grain-Free Pasta Dinner
This recipe makes 3-4 servings.
1 lb cut and trimmed brussel sprouts
2 Tbsp Chosen Foods Avocado Oil
2 Tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
4 slices Applegate Bacon
1 small yellow onion, diced
2 cups Explore Asian Edamame Pasta
Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Heat large skillet over medium high heat on stove.
Combine brussel sprouts, avocado oil, and maple syrup in a large bag and shake to coat. Arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake in oven for 20 minutes.
While the brussel sprouts are baking, add bacon to skillet and cook until crispy, flipping half way through.
Once the bacon is cooking, bring a pot of water to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package directions.
Once bacon is done, remove bacon from the pan but do not drain fat from the pan. Add onion to the bacon fat, stir, and let sauté with lid on for 15 minutes.
Combine pasta, onions, brussel sprouts, and bacon on plate. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy!
