Orange Creamsicle. What do those words make you think of? For me, I think of summer, popsicles, lounging by the pool, and running through the sprinklers as a kid. There’s certain foods and recipes that bring out a since of nostalgia in all of us, and this is definitely one of those recipes for me. I’ve adapted it slightly to incorporate my new favorite flavor of Siggi’s yogurt, (and added in some chia seeds for extra fiber!) and it’s the perfect thickness to sip on in the hot summer heat (which, if you’re from down South like me, you know is already here!). I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
Orange Creamsicle
1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
4oz. Siggi’s Lemon Triple Cream yogurt
2 small oranges, frozen, peeled and seeds removed
1 frozen banana
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 Tbsp 100% pure maple syrup
2 Tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes
1 Tbsp chia seeds
Combine all ingredients in a high powered blender and process until smooth. Enjoy!
